🌟 Highlights

1. We're excited to announce our partnership with the Gates Foundation. This collaboration will enable us to provide critical supplementary income to 25,000 low-income women across five states in India. We will be employing these women to build the largest gender-intentional AI corpora globally.

2. We are thrilled to share that Karya is one of the ten global tech-nonprofits chosen as part of Fast Forward's 2023 Startup Accelerator Cohort. Fast Forward has been on my personal bucket-list for years and the first few weeks have already been super helpful - with connections to so many incredible mentors.

3. We are also excited to share our latest collaboration with Microsoft Research on building language models in low-resource languages. An article describing this collaboration was recently published in The Economic Times, India’s leading tech and business newspaper.

4. This month, we had the absolute honour of talking about our work at Karya at the G20 Summit in Chennai. We also showcased Karya at India’s most important impact conference, Dasra Philanthropy Week in Mumbai and at the annual Microsoft Partner’s Summit in Bangalore.

📊 Impact - By the Numbers

1. Over 30,000 rural Indians use the Karya platform today.

2. Over 30 million paid jobs have now been completed on the Karya platform.

3. We now work in 22 states across India and we are on track to reach over 100,000 beneficiaries by June 2023.
